Readers Journl - Humor

#17                                    Readers Journal                                    1/01/12
            Dear Mrs, Zrihen,
I just finished a book called Hugless Douglas. David Melling writes this book. I used many strategies before, during and after I read this book one strategy that I used before I read this book was to skim and scan through the book to see if there was any text features. Another strategy that I used before I read this book was to read the synopsis to see if I was going to be interested in this book. One strategy that I used while I was reading this book was to ask myself questions. Another strategy that I used while I was reading this book was to predict was going to happen next. One strategy that I used after I read this book was to answer my questions. Another strategy that I used after I read this book was to summarize what I just read and put it in to a readers journal.
I would rate this book an 8-10 because it was very funny. Also I would recommend this book to girls and boys around the age of 7-12. All in all I thought this book was very entertaining.
                                                                        SINCERELY,
                                                                                    Roxanne Fine
